“Invasion Fest Pre Party” in Sydney, Australia [Live Set]
There was just an amazing energy in the air when we walked into the venue. Looking over the layout of the room I knew it had potential to be a great night of hardcore. Literally the only bad part of the day was trying to get some thing to eat around the venue. Me and my friend Trent decided on Chinese food next door and it was the longest wait for some not so great food, but fuck it. When I went back to the venue a new band called Speed we were all excited to see was sound checking and they got me hyped for the show before doors even opened. The lineup was cool top to bottom and all the bands had a great set and a great time. I was excited to get on stage and do our thing. The crowd was packed and the kids has been going off all night. From the minute we started I remember thinking to myself “This is exactly why we still do this band. For this energy” At one point in the middle of one of our songs I went up to Sunny while he was filming this and said something along the lines of “bury this footage and make me buy it off you for a Terror Release in a few years” because I knew what he was capturing was special. So check the set out and I hope you can enjoy it on your screen somewhat as much as I did that night The next day we played a huge fest with Knocked Loose and Jesus Piece. The set was really cool and we played to like 1500 kids but the stage has high and was the only show of the tour with a barricade. I loved it and appreciate it but this show is the setting and vibe I need most to truly love and enjoy being on stage.
