Terror In Brazil At Liberation Fest
This was my first time in South America although I’d been touring in other bands for over a decade. I remember sleeping at the promoters house on the floor. I also recall kids bum rushing the entrance to one of the fests so they didn’t have to pay. It’s was very wild. I think someone in the band (definitely not Carl) had McDonald’s and the promoter said “don’t let the kids see you with that, they’ll think you’re a big shot or something” . This was quite an experience being there. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
